“If Antarctica were music, it would be Mozart; art and it would be Michelangelo; literature and it would be Shakespeare. And yet it is something greater: the only place on earth that is still as it should be.” - Andrew Denton
Our first destination is Antarctica, a land of ice and penguins. It is the only continent without ownership, a government, or an economy. It is a place of discovery and scientific research. And it is the world’s coldest, windiest, and driest continent!
Here we learn about penguins, survival, exploration, and the migration of whales. This leads us to explore the opposite end of the earth, the Arctic. Rather than a continent, it is a body of water and ice. The polar bears roam the land and float on ice floes but will never meet a penguin!
Together let's journey to magical destinations around the world to experience other cultures through literature, art, song, and food by using an integrated homeschooling curriculum. We will share an unforgettable adventure!
